This program is for players with birth years 2018-2021. The Early Development Program is designed to give young players a solid foundation before making the transition to competitive soccer. Your little athlete will learn the basic skills and knowledge of the game and progress to learning more complex skills and tactics as they advance through the program.
All teams will have a Certified Coach who will run training sessions and games at WMSL Soccer Complex. Your coach will reach out a minimum of one week prior to the start date. You will practice once a week on Monday nights, starting the week of SEPTEMBER 8th. Teams will play a total of 6 games. All games will be played on Saturday's and/or Sunday's.
You will receive an email from your coach one week before the start date with information on when and where to meet. Each player will need their own water, a size 3 soccer ball and shin guards. Soccer cleats are not mandatory, but encouraged.
